Artwork Description

As part of an ancient maritime trade route that connected the West to the Orient, Malacca was once one of the busiest ports of call in the world. The shifting winds of the northeast and southwest monsoons brought with it, various civilisations to our shores. In this poignant piece, the cornucopia of Malacca’s rich multicultural heritage is proclaimed through the interlacing elements of a heritage home executed expertly through the manipulation of white space as well as the discerning utilisation of spatial adjustment.
