Calling all young artists!

The Usaha Tegas Heritage is an annual art competition with a long and rich history of promoting and preserving Malaysia's cultural heritage through the medium of art. It was started in 2001 and was previously known as the Tanjong Heritage Art Competition. From 2017, it was launched as the Usaha Tegas Heritage Art Competition. 

We are looking for your original artwork that captures the essence of our storied past and brings to life our colourful cultural heritage. 

Our competition is open to Malaysian students in schools across the country, especially those in colleges and universities. The entries are judged by a panel of experienced artists and art enthusiasts, who are dedicated to the promotion of art and culture. 

The winners of the competition receive cash prizes, certificates, and the opportunity to showcase their artwork at an exhibition. The exhibition will be a great opportunity for you to share your work with the public and to be recognised for your talent.

We hope you will join us in celebrating our cultural heritage through art. We are excited to experience the rich Malaysian culture through the eyes of our young artists.
